Editorial Policy

This Editorial Policy applies to all content published and maintained by WoHoTech, including but not limited to:

• Study notes, subject pages, tutorials, and educational guides (Subjects & Courses)
• DSA and database coding problems, editorials, and solution approaches (WohoCode / Problems)
• Tool descriptions, usage guides, and documentation (125+ Free Tools)
• Placement preparation content, learning paths, and interview resources
• Blog posts and technical articles
• WoHo AI response quality and knowledge base
• Platform help pages and FAQs

This policy does not apply to user-generated content on WoHoPlay (posts, videos, reels, comments), which is governed by our Terms of Service and community guidelines.

WoHoTech operates two distinct types of content on the platform:

Editorial Content (WoHoTech-owned)

• Study notes, subject chapters, tutorials, coding problem statements and editorials, tool guides, and placement resources are created and maintained by WoHoTech.
• This content is written and reviewed by Hriteek Raushan Kumar (Founder & Full-Stack Developer) and subject-matter contributors.
• Editorial content is the intellectual property of WoHoTech. See our Terms of Service for usage rights.

User-Generated Content (Creator-owned)

• Posts, videos, reels, and comments on WoHoPlay are created by independent creators and users.
• User-generated content represents the views of the respective creators, not WoHoTech.
• WoHoTech does not editorially review, endorse, or take responsibility for user-generated content.

• Write for clarity — if a learner cannot understand it, rewrite it.
• Prioritise accuracy — verify facts, code examples, and technical explanations before publishing.
• Be original — content is written from first principles. We do not scrape, plagiarise, or duplicate third-party material.
• Stay practical — content is grounded in real exam patterns, industry usage, and student learning needs.
• Attribute sources — where specific references, research papers, or official documentation are cited, they are credited appropriately.
• Avoid misleading claims — placement content does not promise specific outcomes; AI content includes appropriate accuracy disclaimers.

All editorial content goes through the following quality checks before publishing:

• Technical accuracy review — code examples are tested, algorithmic explanations are verified, and factual claims are checked against authoritative sources.
• Coding problems and test cases are validated against the auto-judge before going live.
• Placement and interview content is reviewed against common industry hiring patterns — not claimed as official company material.
• High-stakes content (exam preparation, placement, legal, financial, or AI-related) undergoes a stricter review before publishing.
• Tool descriptions and documentation are verified against the actual tool behaviour.

• AI tools (including WoHo AI and other language models) may assist in drafting, structuring, or summarising content.
• All AI-assisted content is reviewed and verified by a human before publishing. AI output is never published without human oversight.
• AI-generated diagrams, images, or illustrations used in editorial content are labelled as AI-generated where applicable.
• AI limitations — language models can hallucinate facts, produce outdated information, or make errors. This is why human review is mandatory for all published content.
• WoHo AI responses are generated in real time by language models and are not pre-reviewed. Users should verify AI-generated answers from authoritative sources for critical decisions. See our Disclaimer for details.

• Content is updated when facts change, syllabi evolve, technology versions are released, or errors are reported.
• High-priority corrections (factual errors, broken code, misleading information) are addressed within 48 hours of a valid report.
• Minor improvements, grammar fixes, and formatting updates are batched with regular content updates.
• Time-sensitive pages (placement guides, tool documentation) include a "Last reviewed" note where relevant.
• Outdated content that cannot be updated is either archived or removed with a clear notice.
• Deleted or significantly revised content is not retained publicly — users are redirected to the updated version.

• Official documentation (MDN Web Docs, official language references, IEEE standards, university textbooks) is given preference as source material.
• Where specific external sources are referenced, they are cited inline or as references at the end of the article.
• We do not reproduce substantial portions of copyrighted material. Quotations are brief and attributed.
• Community resources (Stack Overflow, GitHub, academic papers) may be referenced but are not treated as authoritative without cross-verification.

• All editorial content on WoHoTech is written originally. We do not copy-paste, spin, or reproduce content from other websites.
• Content reported as plagiarised is investigated promptly. If verified, it is corrected or removed.
• If you believe WoHoTech content infringes your copyright, please follow the copyright complaint process in our Terms of Service.

We welcome corrections and take all reports seriously. Here is how the process works:

• Submit a correction request by emailing contact@wohotech.in with: the page URL, the incorrect section, and a suggested fix or authoritative source.
• We acknowledge valid correction requests within 1–2 business days.
• If the correction is verified, it is applied as quickly as possible — typically within 48 hours for high-priority issues.
• If a claim is disputed, we cross-check against multiple authoritative sources before making a change.
• Corrections that involve significant content changes may be noted at the bottom of the page.

• WoHoTech may display advertisements through Google AdSense. Ad placements do not influence editorial content decisions.
• WoHoTech offers paid plans and AI credits. The existence of paid plans does not affect the accuracy or objectivity of free educational content.
• Any sponsored content, affiliate links, or paid partnerships — if introduced in the future — will be clearly labelled as sponsored or paid.
• Editorial content is not written, altered, or suppressed at the request of advertisers, sponsors, or business partners.
• WoHoTech has no paid partnerships or affiliations with any company mentioned in placement preparation content. Company names are referenced for educational context only.

Certain content types carry higher risk if inaccurate and are held to stricter standards:

• Exam preparation content — reviewed against standard university syllabi. Students must verify latest syllabus from their institution.
• Placement & interview content — reviewed for relevance and accuracy. Does not guarantee placement outcomes.
• AI-related content — AI capabilities and limitations are described accurately. Overpromising AI accuracy is avoided.
• Financial content (EMI calculators, salary calculators, GST) — verified against current government/official rates. Users should verify with a financial professional for critical decisions.
• Legal and compliance content — editorial content on privacy, terms, and data is not legal advice. Users should consult a legal professional for legal decisions.

WoHoTech's editorial content is independent of commercial, advertising, and business pressures. Specifically:

• Content creation, editing, and correction decisions are made on the basis of accuracy and user value — not commercial interests.
• Advertisers and paying plan subscribers have no editorial influence over content.
• WoHoTech does not accept payment to write, modify, or remove editorial content.
• The platform's business model (plans, credits, ads) is separate from its editorial operations.
